Throughout all misfortunes

I was patient

Something so enticing

Never thought of letting go

I was patient

The love showed through my acting

A tempting lure

I was patient

It’s been a minute

Yet; I still haven’t let go

I was patient

Declining denial as the answer

I’m holding on for a reason

I’m still here being patient
