When things are good it reminds Me of the sweetest cotton candy
Dissolving on my tongue, But when things are low
It’s like the storm with the sharpest lightening Shocking us both as the thunder roars
Beneath the darkest clouds. Why can’t things always be easy?
Like the refreshing crisp spring air Dancing around us freely.
I wish our situations could just go away, Yet they keep raveling up into a tight ball
That refuses to be undone. I’m still tied to you like shoe strings,
Because who said that walking away is so easily done.
