Efforts of my sister

She is excellent beyond its extinct.

Nothing can compare to the talent &

treasure that is within her.

To be unmovable through Adversity and


I applaud the effort of my sister

Another one who has conquered the


Leaving all the dust of sorrow behind.

Not dragging any rubbish with her.

Dropping all dead weights at the door

which God has opened.

She is a force to be reckoned with.

Neither can she be town down.

God is with her!

Shekinah Turner is a freshman English major at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She graduated early from the Paul W. Bryant high school in Cottondale, Alabama, and has plans to publish a book of her poems one day.
