What Could Possibly Go Wrong

He asked what could go wrong, and I thought about it.

Worst case scenario he could leave me broken.

He could stop loving me after I did everything to make him love me.

I can love him ’til I run out of love for myself.

He could drain me out of energy, money, and time.

But honestly if you asked me what could go wrong,

I would say nothing.

Everything happens for a reason,

He was a part of the journey I had to go on.

There was a lesson I needed to learn, and he was there to teach.

So if you ask me what could go wrong I would say nothing at all.
