By Zenia Haley

I only want to be where you are

Wherever you are is where I need to be

It’s not because I’m clingy or jealous

It’s just the fact that I like to be at home

If you one day decide that I’m not where you would like to reside

Then let that be so

After a while some things you just have to let go

There will be tears, both happy and sad

But I’ll be ok as long as you’re ok

And that will be that

Then again if you decide that you want to come home

Grits will be on the stove

And that night I will still be in bed all alone
