As time bends to the present diaspora
we all intended to envision,
Embodying a world
Where people live with eternal guilt,
But radiating admiration from euphoria.
Holding the hand of a distant lover,
Distance grows in the journey that awaits,
of self-preservation.
We are living in a world of fantasy.
Looking at himself so dastardly in the mirror,
Not every relationship is meant to be viewed on the shorthand.
Rather, sharing that first impression from the 54th floor balcony.
The eyes press record on the human transmitter,
Glaring at the fact that each breath that’s taken is all a facade in limbo.
Sitting down realizing his fate.
We are living in a world of fantasy.
