By Peter Brown

It’s time to choose which one you want to be.

A dad or a father, which one are you to me?

I have your name and your walk, but I want nothing else.

I don’t even want your sorry, even if it helps.

A father is a person we all have.

A dad is a person we all need.

It’s hard to raise a man, without one to lead.

To tell how he needs to act, and who he needs to be.

I can’t think of a time where you ever had my back.

I begged you not to leave because you never come back.

You say you want to see me, it’s hard to take note.

You live half an hour away, so obviously you don’t.
